Wax ThermometerA wax thermometer is used to monitor the temperature of the wax. This is an essential utensil for candlemaking as wax heats up very quickly and can catch fire. You can buy a special candle making thermometer or you can use a cooking thermometer if you have one already. Whatever you decide to do, you need to ensure that the thermometer covers a specific range, which is from 30 degrees to 108 degrees Celsius (100-255 degrees Fahrenheit). |
